As you can see, WD-40 is an incredible thing to keep around your house, and these are only 40 ways it can be used. By following a couple of cans of this miracle spray on hand, you will likely find dozens- if not hundreds- more ways to put it to use. Before trying it on something new, though, do a little research. While it can be incredibly helpful, it can also be incredibly hazardous if mishandled. Unless you are sure it is safe, do a little research first- it is well worth your time.
As a reminder, never leave WD-40 on any surfaces that you might step on and slip, eat or drink from or anything that a small child or pet might touch. If you use it on any of these surfaces, be sure to wash the surface afterward. Also, be sure that you store the spray in a cool spot that is not exposed to bright sunlight. As it is a compressed solvent, they can have the potential to explode if it gets too hot, which is a danger in and of itself. WD-40 is indeed great for many things, but it can be harmful if it is not stored correctly.
